Date du début: 1 juin 2015, Date de fin: 31 mai 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The school group Saint-Vincent de Paul mission is to assist the destitute and impoverished developing vocational training and job placement. Ever since 2005, our students can benefit from Leonardo, then Erasmus + mobility programs to Spain. We wish to start off a new mobility program to Great Britain this year. The sales certification of our students implies an increased confidence of English and Anglo-Saxons’ skills. This year, we focused our project on communication skills working on social intelligence; that is acting wisely in human relations. We intended to increase the number of students from 15 up to 20, sending 11 to Spain and 9 to England. They will perform their 3rd internship abroad. The first out of 3 years of sales education the students have to do 2 internships for 7 weeks which second one in a touristic area of Paris. The second year, by 16 years old the selected students (equally boys and girls) must do their first internship either in England or in Spain. The students achieved the activities mentioned on the evaluation grid in the vocational trade diploma • greeting and advising customer • displaying products • keeping the store tidy and clean • attaching price tags to merchandise • receiving and storing the delivery A strong impact has been obtained on various stakeholders, in the heart of which our students. This year, they benefited from receiving an extra hour course of cultural and linguistic pedagogical preparation. The potential 450 million English-speaking customers lead us to meet the requirements of adapting our education and opening the program to Great Britain. This mobility will lead them to further their education following high school to international trade BTS, and why not, forecasting additional international internships.
