Concordia is a national community group / association that promotes mobility and volonteering. The regional delegation from Midi-Pyrénées started to develop projects in 2015 in the Higher Pyrenees and more precisely in Haute Bigorre with the organisation of an international work project of young volonteers during the summer.For several months, we have participated in building up a network of structures for the youth that develop popular educational activities and that question the life on different territories of France. This is how we have met le Tiers Lieux en Bigorre and Le Laboratoire, Observatoire des Cultures des Architectures et des Lieux, our local partners. With our international and local workcamp, we question the relationship between young people and territories, other users etc. When we interveen on rehabilitation and patrimonial development, they participate in developping territorial projects. Today we want to go further; how to associate young people to these territorial projects and how to involve them in tomorrow's territorial structures?What are the questions that should be brought up today about climate change, movement of people, changes of way of life?We would like to propose a project built in 3 different steps:A / In November 2016, a Training-Course for youth workers about reading tools and territorial analysis (social mapping), and how to translate a collective representation into tangible projects, to be done with a group of youth. The course will also be dedicated to adapting to the participants' differents skills and work situations.B/ 3 months after the course, en March 2016, we will organise the second step of the project, a Study Visit with leaders who had already taken part into the course. This second meeting will be analysing the data that was gathered with our different partners. Thus we will be able to identify how to practice best and co'work on a Tool Box, dedicated to reading a methods and territorial analysis that will lead to projects built up by young people.C/ In July 2017, Gerde, a town in Haute Bigorre, offers to welcome the Youth Exchange and be the pionneer territory for this collectiv experiment and the Tool Box skills. We will organise workshops on discovery of the land, meetings with the locals, and a project based on the information gathered by the youth. The Youth Exchange will end with organising a public event on highliting the whole project (the course and the meeting with leaders)All along the project we will host together a digital platform facilitating exchange and experiments.Our three partners, Spain, Lettony and Ukrain, will send the following participants: 4 people for the Training-Course, 2 leaders for the Study-Visit, 5 young people for the Youth Exchange.The 3 steps of the project will aim at the same goals:- Diversification of skills of the youth workers, and of youth groups and the young people themselves- Boost the integration of the youth workers, the youth groups and the young people into the territorial development- Rally the youth workers, the youth groups and the young people into common projects and talk about the fundamental values brought by Europe- Help everyone to get involved into the projectsThe different tools and the results of the project will be dispatched into several technical sheets, in the online Toolbox. It will be possible to always add new projects to it.Six months after the end of the project, we will organise an assessment and we will put into perspective the strengths and weaknesses of the project with all the other organisers.
