The project seeks to meet the needs of young people in Central and Eastern Europe in the context of understanding social phenomen based on the region's cultural diversity and to interact with other cultures, to discover their cultural identity and European citizenship, to have intercultural experiences.Young people will be able to recognize their own distinctive culture and to integrate them in a wider European context, diverse. They will have to do in a concrete way and creative, colorful collages representing Europe through diversity in Europe as the final goal of the project. Young people from different backgrounds will meet to discuss European themes for the exchange of cultural habits and learn more about being citizens of Europe.Colourful Europe project will be implemented in a period of 10 months in addition to the preparation, evaluation and dissemination, and includes a main activity mobility - multilateral youth exchange, which will last 7 days of activity during the period 15.08.2016 -21.08.2016 in Sighetu Marmatiei, jud. Maramures, Romania. Project activities will be implemented with the support of four partners from countries Greece, Italy, Turkey, Lithuania, Hungary and developer from Romania.The project targets primarily young people aged between 18 and 30 years, young residents of countries participating in the project speaking English at a conversational level.Each partner will involve a number of 5 participants per group and a leader, so in total we will have 30 participants and six group leaders. Of the 30 participants will be at least 8 young people with fewer opportunities.Overall objective: raising awareness of the importance of cultural diversity in Europe and the contribution that young people can make to build a tolerant society based on cultural diversity and inclusion among the 36 young people aged 18-30 years from Greece, Italy, Turkey, Lithuania, Hungary and Romania in a period of 7 days in August 2016In the medium term, we expect young people to have changes on the perception of other cultures and cultural diversity in Europe through mobility activities (intercultural learning) and its role in the dissemination phase. They will be the most important spokesman of European diversity in their community / country, so they will become active in partner organizations, will be involved in other activities and they would seek opportunities for intercultural learning by applying to the program E + by request financing, participation in mobility, or even an EVS.The main activity during the dissemination, will be making the Colourful Europe brochure, that will be a similar method to Photo Voice. The theme is continuing the project by making snapshots that capture culture and tradition of the region in the European context. After it all in rural youth will create a collage of photos on each line, trying to shape a culture very colorful map of Europe.
