Society For Intercultural Research and Friendship (SIRF) is a civil society association founded in 1995. It is a volunteer cultural bridge between nations and cultures especially serving to international students studying in Turkey. Education and training activities consist one of the most important part of SIRF. We provide foreign language courses in English, Turkish and Arabic for a variety of learners from different cultures, age and profession groups in order introduce them our culture, values as well as providing them the necessary competences for employment. SIRF has a background of 20 years experience. From the day it is founded, we have attributed much importance to internationalization quality development process. Developing the quality of education and training activities in SIRF and gaining a European dimension are the priorities of our foundation. Each year we conduct needs analysis studies in order to improve educational activities and we see that professional development of our trainers, classroom management, acquiring new methods and approaches in intercultural education and communication are the leading needs SIRF. Planned activities in the project not only boost up the personel competences of trainers but also contribute to the learners and beneficiaries of adult education. Considering the fact that intercultural learning and research constitute the basis of our mission we have planned to join in-service training courses in European countries. Developing the teaching skills of our trainers, especially for intercultural trainers is also very important for the quality of our training activities. We are fully aware of the fact that we should practise what we learn from these international learning & teaching events. Our potential beneficiaries of these mobilites will do their best in order to disseminate the outcomes of our project. They will interact with the staff of other adult education centers, share the materials they gained during these activities, and will have online interaction with all stakeholders of the project. One of the most important goals of our project is to establish the basis for a strategic partnership project and develop new bridges and friendships with new partners to fulfill the mission of our association as well the Erasmus+ program's.
