The project we want to carry out is meant to answer a need for a reinforced cooperation between European youth organizations and the building of new partnerships between civil society from islands and mainland. This project is designed to meet collective needs of organizations from European Islands and small communities from mainland Europe that hold similar experiences on working in promoting tolerance, acceptance of diversity and with youngsters with fewer opportunities, but have different work practices and methods. The present project proposes a Contact Making Seminar, that will be held in Puerto de la Cruz, between the 1st and the 6th of November 2016, where representatives of 10 European NGOs will get together and try to find ways to work together against discrimination, in its many forms, and increase the involvement of youngsters with fewer opportunities in projects of Erasmus + and others.
