According to the researches the main reasons for early school leaving and failures in education are changes in the world perception, as well as in the ways for receiving and treating new information perception and of the children and adolescents of modern society. As our school also have faced the problem of early school leaving very often due to lack of motivation caused by low basic skills. Thus, the vision of our school on the way to the transformation of national (as well as European) educational field is piloting new learning approaches based on the recent studies in pedagogy. Along with the development of creativity and a meaningful use of technologies we would like to encourage staying in context of traditional and moral values. Moreover, our school aims at involving other local schools in developing 21st century pedagogy by creating a local Cluster of Pedagogical Innovations for a regular interaction within local and national school community along with supporting cultural awareness in European dimensions, individual capability and new understanding of connections (accessibility). There will be 24 participants gaining new competencies and knowledge within 24 month long project lifetime. 1) The participants will improve their skills of embracing new literacies to create learning connections with today's tech-savvy students and infuse technologies into the 21st century school curricula. 2) They will expand on their knowledge about how to implement comprehensive approaches in context-based learning, inquiry-based techniques and innovative student centric pedagogical practices that utilise web-based learning resources in order to prevent early school leaving and educational failures. 3) They will acquire new teaching and learning attitudes and behaviors i.e. appreciative approach to change and learning, questioning techniques that create new perspectives, appreciative and solution-focused coaching to prevent educational failures. 4) School managers participating in the project will acquire specific tools for more systematic approach to the management of school, tools for dealing with professional problems, along with knowledge about new learning environments in terms of school building, curricula, future schools and furniture inside school. 5) Head teachers of departments participating in the project will improve their skills on participatory evaluation processes that ensure widespread learning. As the result of the project will be creating of Cluster of Pedagogical Innovations which will continue on working out new strategies for transforming the 21st century classroom and implementing the changes into the school life, there will be a great long term benefit for local, national, as well as European teacher community.
