The overall objective of the project is to strengthen the capacity for cultural collaboration in the Polish-Ukrainian-Belarusian borderland. The overall objective will be achieved through cooperation of cultural institutions and non-governmental organizations from Lublin, Lviv and Brest. They intend to exchange good practices, organise joint artistic ventures and transfer knowledge on modern culture management with the use of external funding via a set of specialist trainings. Development of sustainable structures by means of the ICT tools will enhance communication and network cooperation of institutions and non-governmental organisations operating in the field of culture.The project shall deliver long-lasting benefits for the partner cities by influencing the intensity of cultural and artistic cooperation and improving the quality of cultural projects. It includes organisation of joint artistic events. Expected Results: The project resulted in increase in commitment to joint cultural initiatives held by artistic centres from the partner cities. The project involved 18 artistic presentations, 9 international contests and 3 large events closing the project – jointly prepared and realised by a Polish-Ukrainian-Belarusian project team. The skills and experience gained by Polish, Ukrainian and Belarusian animators were exploited to prepare and implement prospective cross-border projects. In a broader perspective, the project results will be employed by other cultural institutions of the borderland by building on good practices. The project sustainability will be also assured by the Cross- Border Portal of Cultural Information and the Cultural Information Points that will be maintained after the project completion.
