The second aim of the project is to develop the natural resources as tourism amenities. The proposal focuses on the natural beauty and natural resources of the area and harnesses them to act as a catalyst for rural regeneration. This will be achieved through investment in heritage and walking trails and in angling infrastructure in the region. The project will compliment the work of the national agencies and local authority aims in this respect and add value to any work already undertaken.
