The title of our project is 'Focus on CLiL'. Our school is an all-day school and offers various afternoon classes for less able pupils. Therefore, we aim to stretch the need of our more able pupils linguistically and would like to implement a bilingual class in our afternoon extracurricular class set. Pupils will experience immersive settings of learning English, improve their English and might be motivated to enter European exchange programmes. If that is successful thinking about implementing it as a teaching principle in the school curriculum might be possible. Accordingly to our aim we would like to send two modern foreign language teachers to a CLiL course. These two colleagues have no practical CLiL experience and are highly motivated to learn about CLiL principles and methodology, meeting other European colleagues with the same interest for further contacts and improving their English language skills. After the course the two colleagues will function as multipliers telling other colleagues about the outcome of the course and how to handle CLiL. Furthermore, they will start creating a curriculum for an extracurricular class and implement it.
