"Civil Involvement of European Youth by Entrepreneurship and Social business" (C-EYES) is an innovative project to exchange and promote practices in youth entrepreneurship and social business with 10 youth organisations from Europe.According to Eurostat in July 2015, 20,4% of young persons under 25 year are unemployed in the EU-28. We need to implement collective and innovative measures for inclusion and create jobs opportunities for our new generation. Social Business and new innovative entrepreneurship models can be a sustainable solution to address the multiple challenges posed by the economic, social and environmental crisis.C-EYES will promote a pro active citizenship by:- sharing and creating tools between European youth workers to promote a sense of initiatives and entrepreneurship methods among young people. - Sharing innovative ideas from different European countries in social businesses practices initiated by youthIt is fully in line with the current European policy (Europe 2020) which pursues both a sustainable development path and participatory citizenship by encouraging and supporting social business’projects. The consortium of partners involved in the project is composed of 9 countries : France, Slovenia (2), Estonia, Croatia, Romanian, Italy, Spain and Greece.The project aims at:• Fight youth unemployment by entrepreneurship in European countries• Inspire youth and youth workers and transfer creativity by sharing social business best practices• Stimulate entrepreneurs skills for youth workers and youth to promote entrepreneurship• Promote social business as a resource for sustainable development• Foster European active citizenship through youth initiative in social business• Raise young people’s awareness of European sustainable development policies• Setting up a European cooperation network of entrepreneurship in social business• Give youth workers entrepreneurship tools and promote social business entrepreneurship practices among young peopleC-EYES promotes mobility of youth workers, youth with fewer opportunities-physicallly challenged young persons, Rom from Slovenia, and young migrants in France and Italy.The project aims to share practices on self-employment, youth entrepreneurship and social business.27 youth workers - 3 from each european country among of which, one specialized in youth entrepreneurship or social business + 3 from Swiss outside European fundings - will do research on social business practices and youth entrepreneurship method at a national level and will participate in a 7-day seminar in Marseille (France) in May 2016.C-EYES will be implemented during one year, from January 2016 to December 2016.Each partner works on a local and national level to identify best practices and examples in the field of social business. They also do research on youth entrepreneurship practices.After the seminar, European partners will work on the creation of a single European guidebook gathering European best practices in social business and youth entrepreneurship.After the seminar youth workers continue to promote entrepreneurship in social business with youth through a network of partners from Europe. Each member of the network could mentor and support youth to develop their own activity on a local or European level. They may also set up new seminars about social business, and create free tools on the website to help youth in their creation process.The expected results are:- Foster the social business model to youth and boost social business perspectives in Europe- Train youth workers to develop, guide, boost and support youth projects of social business - Emergence of an active and participatory European citizenship and promotion of the Erasmus programme for young entrepreneurs- Implementation of a sustainable support network to promote social business and young entrepreneurs;- Promotion of social business as sustainable development axis for future generations;- Creating and dissemination of a European guidebook : "Social business best practices and tools for young entrepreneurs" and elaborate digital tools/platform for young entrepreneurs in social business;- this guide can be used also for NGO to reach companies and create partnership on the base of Corporate Responsible StrategyAt last, the potential long term benefits should be the rise of new job with social economy virtuous cycle the development of economic exchanges between european countries based on sustainable development, the emergence of an active and participatory European citizenship based on participation and innovation.
