CitywisE+ is a project building on the success of our midschool (Full time out-of-school program for young people from socially disadvantaged backgrounds) and our range of sporting and computer programming afterschool programs. The Midschool program prepares young people for the state examinations - Junior Certificate which they will sit in June 2015. (Typical examinations subjects - Maths, English, Art, History, Geography, Civic Social Political Education [CSPE]). The main method of evaluating this program is the results the students achieve in their Junior Certificate. The coding programs are aimed at providing young people an opportunity to improve their coding and game making skills. All of our programs bring to them aspect of personal development for the students who take part in them. We aim to have 3 volunteers from the EVS program in order to enhance the activities we run and to develop further the work we do with young people from underserved areas.
