Circus and Beweging is a Belgian circus school that is engaged in artistic education. They use specific pedagogical approaches to motivate children and young people to unreservedly express their creative potential. The aim of the project is to expand awareness of the importance of the arts for educational purposes and the importance of individual expression for personal development. The project goal is to promote circus and contemporary circus techniques as a tool for delivering these values. The project will involve one volunteer from Slovenia who will be working for 5 months in their educational center in Leuven. He will participate in various educational activities, prepare circus-theater workshops and assist in the preparation of artistic events and festivals. He will also be included in the daily administrative and logistical tasks of the organization. The volunteer will have the opportunity to cooperate with other local and foreign young volunteers with whom he can exchange experience and good practice. The project will implement methodologies used in circus pedagogy, that will stimulate and create a physically and emotionally safe environment where the volunteer will improve his artistic and creative skills.
