“Circus Arts and Street Arts Circuits” (CASA) wants to raise the circus and street arts professionals’ ambition as well as their awareness of new challenges, proactively shaping responses to them. The partners unite to increase stakeholders’ capacity to work internationally and commit to facilitate the transmission of good working practices and the enhancement of (intercultural) competences and skills in our fields. CASA is designed as a support programme aiming at unfolding work opportunities for circus and outdoor arts professionals by helping them to access international markets and quality information on street arts and circus, to develop knowledge on different cultural contexts and artistic environments and to learn from peers in order to diversify their approaches and imagine new work methods. A special focus will be given to unlocking the potential of circus and street arts to reach new audiences. This will be achieved through the following activities: - Communication & Marketing Workshops: 1 day trainings, led by international experts, to increase the capacity of individual professionals to work transnationally and adapt to new realities. - Audience & Market Development Trips: 7 day exploratory trips into a different cultural context to open new horizons in terms of work opportunities as well as being inspired by innovative approaches an making new connections- Multimedia Market Guides: Each guide will focus on particular cultural context, providing researched information and analysis of cultural policies, cultural infrastructures and local artistic realities. The guides will adopt an innovative multi support format.Disseminating all information and results through a communication strategy with in it’s core an accessible interactive website with multi format content.CASA expects to serve as a spring board for future cooperations, projects and artistic innovations in the field of circus and street arts.
