In the following of “Cinematic 1” project, cultural trade between France and Russia with young people about animation movie (July 2013), “Cinematic 2” is a project based on media artistic practice (animation movie, video, photography...) for and with young Europeans. The idea came first by the wish of kids, it finally became a gathering of 40 youths between 13 and 18 years old from France, Russia, Serbia and Spain to make together joint productions about visual and artistic means of expression cited before. This project, coordinate by Leo Lagrange Sud-Ouest, in partnership with: Pinsaguel’s town hall, the Ménagerie, the media education center of Belgrade, the studio Staraya Mal’nica from Novossibirsk then with the Ayuntamiento from Pilas, has for objective to: - Promote the partnership between different countries from E.U. ; - Get some knowledge about the role of E.U. in the “European” continent ; - Develop critical thinking and civic engagement of each young ; - Improve European cooperation and collective consciousness by soft education in promoting the link between each culture and the notions of sharing and solidarity ; - Accompany the youths in the acquisition of responsibility and autonomy This project whose main activity will be the different media arts practice, also promote exchanging time, sharing and discovers. During spare-time collective activities, of cooperation, territory discovers also during community life time, the youths can experience by an active way this project. Indeed, our pedagogic method is “active participation”; allow young people to get involved and organize all steps of project, (preparation, realization, evaluation and valorization). During this exchange, youths will learn listening each other, living together, knowing differences about different lifestyle and culture, expressing their selves in another language than theirs, respecting the others with their differences. At the end of this exchange youths will acquire self-control, and some knowledge they can use during all their future lifetime. This project will also have a strong local impact on: our educative structure, our partnerships. Indeed, we hope this project will affect lots of persons, to make them realize the importance of the European dimension. This exchange experience wishes to perpetuate and renew in different structures. We would like that the contact established between us and our partners could persist in future, with the possibility to open this project to new partnerships. We hope to create an European network based on media art education.
