Children and Youth Multicultural Education

The project „Children multicultural education ” was the project for 14 volunteers from UE countries who worked in seven educational institutions. The theme of the project was the development cooperation and European awareness by intercultural learning. Objectives of our project was to give to European volunteers the possibility to develop their competences and skills through work in the Polish educational institution, to create an atmosphere of international cooperation in the host organizations and to create the opportunities for intercultural learning. The volunteers had two main tasks, taking active participation in daily life of their organisation and to promote their own cultures and countries, and also to give intercultural dimension of their projects. Volunteers worked in same field but in different Hosting Organisations, were able to exchange experiences . The connection between all those volunteers was STRIM Association itself. The Strim volunteer was be responsible to write down all constructive outcomes of these exchanges and also putting on his blog. Volunteers had possibility to take part in the coordination organization meetings, during which they discuss their working methods, daily work, ideas and reflections. They also took active participation in all international and national activities in STRIM. During such events the volunteers had great possibility to widen their knowledge about membership in the European Union, Intercultural Learning and non-formal education issues As a result of our project, our volunteers as well as all people involved in the project increased their competence. Volunteers will bringed in to the hosting organizations daily live their new, creative ideas. Children and youth with whom the volunteers worked open up to other culture. The results of this EVS project were present in different ways et the end of the project.
