Our main goals were as follows: - Improving language competence. - Improving communication skills. - Developing cultural awareness. - Gaining knowledge on vital political and economic issues. - Promoting readiness to develop professional and personal competence. - Sharing experience in multicultural society. All the goals have been achieved. There were seven people participating in the projects with various professional advancement and work experience. They were language teachers and teachers of other subjects: biology, physics, chemistry . Realization of the project consisted of the following tasks: - Preparatory action. We have done: workshop analysis, language preparation, cultural awareness of the region the course is based, formal and organizational preparatory (analysis of hints publicated on official Erasmus+ webpage, analysis of the courses for the school and participants needs). - Realization. We have done: participation in trainings and courses, introducing elements of the English language in chosen subjects, application of modern teaching methods, establishing new initiatives in international cooperation of youth ant teachers (Spain, France) - Publication and evaluation. We have done: evaluation of the project inside school. Report on the training has been published on the school website. The participants have shared their experience with the teachers they cooperate with, in and out of the school. Benefits and effects of the project: 1. We have raised professional and personal competence of the teachers (language skills, teaching skills, creativity, openness to new initiatives) 2. We have introduced some language elements into several subjects. 3. We have improved effectiveness of teaching. 4. We have improved and organized more attractive school and after - school classes, increased student motivation towards foreign language learning. 5. We have more effective cooperation with the school in Gensheim within the Polish – German Youth Exchange. 6. We have taken up new initiatives on international school cooperation (eTwinning) 7. We have been formating students’ tolerance and respect for other cultures and European values.
