Based on previous Leonardo da Vinci project from 2001, “European Foundation Certificate in banking - EFCB” (EUR/01/C/F/TH-84904), the project will develop a new system for the certification of competences and the accreditation of training providers in the Financial Services Sector in the EU. The project will explore the key segments of the sector and will provide European certificates for competences for expert employees and middle managers working in the sector. The system for the certification of competences will contribute to increase the quality of VET provisions and the harmonisation of curricula. Target groups are employers, managers, trainers, designers & managers of training programmes, employees.
