Overall objective: To plan, support and mobilize development of tourism regions Čergov-Lysá (Slovakia) and Zakarpatska (Ukraine) through cross-border cooperation. Specific objectives: 1) To develop joint plan for tourism development in Čergov-Lysá and Zakarpatska regions. 2) To enhance resorts promotion, to give positive image of the regions and to contribute to regional development. 3) To strengthen cross-border partnerships and to promote cross-border cooperation. 4) To modernize ski resort Lysá infrastructure. Main activities: A1 – Initial meeting of project team, project publicity. A2 – Procurement of snowmaking technology. A3 – Joint sport activities in Čergov region. A4 – Joint sport activities in Zakarpatska region. A5 – Joint preparation of Tourism presentation materials of Čergov and Zakarpatska regions. A6 –Preparation of Joint strategy for tourism development of Čergov-Lysá and Zakarpatska regions. A7 – Final meeting of project team, project publicity. Achievements: Improved tourist possibilities of the region Čergov and Zakarpatska. Enhanced cross-border cooperation, established partnership. Developed joint strategy for tourism development in both regions. Joint marketing and promotional materials.
