The project is a small collaboration between three sport organizations of badminton, from Szeged (HU), Maribor (SL) and Zagreb (CR), implemented in 18 months from 01.01.2017.The project includes 4 work packages (Project management, Platform and e-learning materials, Training the trainers, Dissemination) by collaboration of 6 persons (project managers, coordinator and coaches). The objective is aimed to pursue is promoting voluntary activities, with social inclusion, equal opportunities and awareness of importance health-enhancing physical activity by increased participation and equal access to sport for all. Different strengths were identified that can be transferred as knowledge and best practices to the others and more children players can be involved to badminton: it can be more mass sport, grassroots with emphasis on voluntarism, inclusion and equal access to sport. Essential tasks will be elaborated during project period: creation of Training Platform with the e-learning content, realizing Knowledge Transfer Events, purchasing equipments to support badminton programmes in 45 underprivileged schools, setting up video systems in all venues to record and comment matches/trainings for a conscious development of players, organizing to prepare 3x40 PE teachers training in their schools involving students playing badminton having the chance to become real players or spend time regularly with sport. The main aim of the cooperation is sharing best practices to expand the popularity of badminton and improve it to mass sport activity in schools: with involving and training PE teachers and setting up a Platform to help developing the trained skills of players. Similar problems was experienced with different approaches to solve them in the participating countries, the solution combines innovative thinking and tools developed, strong competencies and general strengths of the partners; it culminates in Central-European network project can be expanded to EU dimension.
