Aim of the project is the development of a qualification programme consisting of two curricula: A) a training curriculum for accessibility experts and B) a training curriculum for usability testers. Target group for A) are persons who want to get further qualification as accessibility experts (e.g. architects, industrial designers, civil servants of public administrations, facility-, quality- and human resources managers,...). Target group for B) are people with learning, physical, psychic, visual or hearing disabilities who want to get a qualification as usability testers. Both groups will cooperate intensively when conducting a so called accessibility and usability evaluation in companies. The accessibility expert will act as a coordinator and surveyor and the usability tester will act as personally affected expert who is able to realise and describe barriers for his/her kind of disability at best. User of the results of project will be at first training institutes which can include this qualification into their training programmes. In the future the accessibility evaluation process will be available for enterprises, authorities and employee representatives as well as employers associations. People with disabilities will be offered new educational possibilities as well as the advantages of accessible enterprises. All products will be copiled in a handbook which can be downloaded from the project website as a .pdf.
