The project "CARE– Constructing bounds between Europe and Middle East" bilateral project between Adamastor – Associação Cultural from Portugal and East & West Center for Human Resources Development (WE center) from Jordan. The objectives of project are: • To enhance youth mobility by providing European Voluntary Service in another country; • To encourage intercultural dialogue between youth from Europe and Middle East; • To develop cooperation between organizations from Middle East and Europe; • To develop youth and children English skills and offer interesting free time activities. WE Center will host two volunteers from Portugal for 6 month period. The main tasks for volunteers are: • To prepare and lead after school English lessons for kids in Palestinian refugee camps - Gaza camp and Suf camp near Jerash city; • To assist in project proposal development and new initiatives; • To promote EVS and Erasmus+ program to youth in Jordan and establish new cooperation with other organization from Europe and Arab countries; • To develop new initiative; • To take active part in Arabic lessons and do self-study and take part in organizations activities; • To write blog articles about his experience in Jordan (in English). Volunteer will use non-formal education methods in their daily work.
