The project "Captivating Europe" will be a 7 days training that will take place in Berlin in from 16th-24th April 2016. It will include 25 people in total from 7 different countries: Italy, Lithuania, Germany, Greece, Turkey, Croatia and Belgium The aim of the project is to develop innovative communication strategies for pro-European causes that better reach younger audiences. On that basis we will identify the needs and preferences of young people as a target group. Via both peer-learning and input provided by trainers we will then advance the different projects in various alternating group-working modules. The project has the following objectives:- provide an educational forum in which participants can discuss and work on ongoing projects in the field of pro-European communication- assessing the existing shortcomings in pro-European communication - identifying the needs of young people and requirements for creating a common European identity- making participants aware of national differences and commonalities regarding the discourse on a unified Europe- developing new tools and strategies to better communicate pro-European ideas and values- equipping participants with communicational and substantial skills and knowledge, to be deployed in their respective organizations and in specific projects- encourage and support networking and get more people involved in OneEurope.- promote and encourage the active use of programmes like Erasmus+ as a support tool for the promotion of active citizenship, pan-European debate and a common European identity
