“Butterfly Effect” is a training course in Palermo, in which 4 different countries participate: Italy, Latvia, Hungary and Portugal. From each country, 5 participants are involved -into a 7 days course- experiencing and reflecting on the theme of the intercultural dialogue and social inclusion through non verbal communication. In particular, the Training Course is focused on giving professional skills to youthworkers, to support disadvantaged youngsters and to be aware of their educative approach. The activities refer to body language, facial expression, gestures and movement. Non formal methodology is based on dance, theatre, performing techniques, roleplay, round tables, outdoor activities, creative workshops. The partipants are expected to repeat the learned innovative activities and methods with young people (immigrants, disables, minorities), offering new and efficient opportunities to express themselves, to be recognized and valorized, to participate to an inclusive social process. The long term benefits are mutual understanding, union and respect towards cultural, linguistic, social diversity into the local community.
