Business Process Modelling for Governance SPICE & Internal Financial Control

The objective of the proposal is the transfer of the already proved innovation from Germany to Hungary, where the existing results of IA Manager and Montific are further enriched by the adapted "Stage" platform for Business Process Modelling (BPM) providing ready to use scenarios for enterprises and best practice cases for the teaching and learning in vocational trainings demanded by both sides of the labour market. The adaptation is performed by Method Park, the German platform developer, while the localization for developing Hungarian case studies is led by the Hungarian BPM consulting firm Gemma. Test results and client / employer feedback - from the business environment of Memolux, providing accounting services for more than 150 clients - are validated by the Irish partner, ISCN having key competencies in ISO/IEC 15504 assessment and providing European infrastructure for test and evidence based certification system. Budapest Business School provides the pedagogical competencies aiming the integration of the project results into the Hungarian VET system by further developing Internal Financial Control Assessor programmes. Such as in the former successful projects, Memolux has the role of professional coordination of the project in terms of quality of work, dissemination and further exploitation. Adding business driven case studies in training programmes would support understanding the new competencies needed and best practices relevant for business practitioners. Employers are interested in on-the-job trainings where the acquired skills and knowledge can be directly tested and certified by applying the offered methodology and tools in live environment. The platform system "Stages" will be adapted as a BPM (Business Process Modeling) master example for teaching and even "coaching" practical implementation of internal financial controls with IT support applied by private and public sector companies following internationally recognized control frameworks like COSO/COBIT, and related assessment (audit) approach (Governance SPICE).
