The project “Building bridges” will be a mobility project between DUCOR “Partenija Zografski” Skopje, Macedonia as a visiting school and VOŠ CR a MOS, spol. s r.o.Prague, Czech Republicas a hosting school. This project is planned to last 14 days and will include 10 students, 2 accompanying persons and 5 teachers who will visit Prague.They will be selected mainly by their skills and interest. Our school has been throughout all details with the school in Prague and we together have come to the whole idea and plan for the projects. Also we will arrange every detail about our students preparations ,travelling and accommodation there, taking in consider that they are students with special needs. Our main objective is to realize a conclusion between the hearing students from Prague and deaf students from Skopje. This will be achieved through learning business plans, management and entrepreneurship which will also be a great upgrade of the skills of our students, will improve their qualifications and opportunities and will make them competitive on the labor market which is a great issue in Macedonia nowadays. Our other objective is to introduce the teachers in the ECVET educational system in Prague which will be implemented in Macedonia soon. They will have trainings lead by teachers from the hosting school in order to get to know our teachers in this practice with ECVET programs. This will be a huge experience and a whole new knowledge for our teachers which will be very useful to share in Macedonia afterwards. We plan on realizing these objectives through workshops and trainings of the topic of business and management that will include students from Prague and Skopje together, monitored by the teachers.During the process of training, the partner school will also be monitoring and supporting the students throughout all phases of teaching and practice process: - Working with the students and observing practice - Examination of the student's portfolio - Discussion with the students - Discussion with other mentors and assessors After the project, all made business plans will be published on the web site of our school and will be presented in the career center of our school. Also, the teachers will share the results of their trainings with the rest of the staff here. As a result of this project we expect -spreading the inclusion and breaking the boundaries between deaf and hearing students; - increasing their competence, competitiveness and courage in the labor market; - increasing their knowledge in business and management and their English level - preparing the teachers for the ECVET system - gaining experience in a Europe way of teaching and learning Through these results we will achieve a local and national impacts in terms of upgrading and improving the education in our school and encourage our young students for a job that is expecting them after secondary school and not to be afraid of it. Also, teachers will improve their pedagogical approaches and teaching process which will be shared to the rest of the staff. This makes the long-term significance of this project. The business plans will be shared on the web site of the school, so the next generations can see and learn from it.This project makes a great step forward for us and other schools for students with special needs in Macedonia because it will erase the boundaries of language and ability and will build bridges of respect, friendship and understanding instead.
