"BUILD YOUR OWN FUTURE. The time is now" is a youth exchange, within KA1 + the Erasmus program, which will take place in Castro del Río (village in the province of Cordoba) from 15th to 22nd March 2015 will count on a total of 30 participants between 18 and 30 years old from Romania, Poland, Belgium Castro del Río is a town located south-east of Cordoba. Its population is 8000 inhabitants, and about 2000 are aged 15 to 34 years old. This project will carry out because, on one hand the current situation among young people related to employment and migration is impacting negatively on these. There is a high unemployment and numerous cases of young people from different European countries who feel the need to migrate to other countries seeking employment opportunities. Moreover, the recovery of traditional trades as traditional sources of employment. And we believe that these professions shouldn't miss because they are sources of employment internationally. Our general objetctives are: - Bring young people into work actively - Remove barriers and prejudices about mobility for a job search - Promote tolerance among cultures and a sense of European citizenship - Encourage an active and independent attitude among young people Furthermore, we can also have some specific objectives: - Know the tools and skills oriented active job search - Exchange personal experiences on international mobility and migration - Promote social and intercultural dialogue between young people from different countries - Activate the initiative and entrepreneurship among young people Therefore, we think this exchange will allow young people (from Castro del Río and the different countries), change theirr perception about different countries, know the realities on a global and individual level of the participants and the country related to employment, unemployment, migration and etrepreneurship. Meanwhile activities are divided in: - Activities to know participants each other - Actively employment seeking (Active Job Search) - Self-awareness and improved self-esteem (I know myself, I love myself) - Mobility and migration (Mobility & Migration) - Tradition and entrepreneurship (Tradition & Entrepreneurship) - Evaluation The methodology that we will use, will be participatory, dynamic and fostering creativity. For this purpose, we will do role play, theater forum, debates, energizer, presentations, artistic activities, etc. Last, at local, national and European / international level we would like to young people and organizations non participants in the project can learn from everything we have worked during this exchange (unemployment, migration and entrepreneurship) to be able to understand the differences and similarities among countries and be able to act at the individual level; and in the future we can have other young people and organizations for the development of future projects in which young people are the protagonists and they are able to change their own reality.
