The ability to obtain, process and transfer knowledge throughout life becomes a prerequisite for adaptation to the new paradigms of the knowledge society and the labor world. In addition, mobility is an integral part of the new requirements of employability. Markets are increasing are are more affordable, but the competition is bigger, more and more empowered and knows no geographical boundaries. The construction industry is characterized by mobility of construction sites, increasingly, this mobility is transnational, and we should prepare professionals and businesses to better compete in the European market. With this mobility, the trainees will carry out the training component in a work context, in companies indicated by a host partner. The main objectives of this mobility are:• Contribute to the development and modernization of the construction sector.• Prepare future professionals in the construction sector at a technical level to better cope with the situations of the labor market abroad, allowing them greater individual initiative and greater openness to mobility.• Allow participants to have access to greater linguistic, social and cultural learning, when preparing for mobility and the experience that living in the host country offers, for better adaptation and integration.• Contribute to improving the quality of vocational training mobility and increase the skills of its beneficiaries.• To contribute to the personal development of the participants, it is another of the aspects that this mobility will allow, in particular consolidate and enhance team spirit and integration into new teams. The difficulties and challenges encountered and its resolution will be extremely positive experiences for participants and contribute to the success of their integration into the labor market, whether in Portugal or in another country.• To strengthen the cooperation of European standardization training partners in this project, also contributing to an important political objective and social cohesion of the EU.• Increase the use of Europass Training.• Allow participants to take contact: - Materials, tools and local technologies; - Work techniques taking into account the materials and tools; - Local legislation - Implementation of best practices in the field of waste management and reuse of materials .This Application includes 8 graduates of a dual certification training course - educational and professional - which, after completing their courses in CENFIC, will get a school certificate equivalent to the 9th year of schooling and Professional certification as Plumber. It is intended to integrate the participants on construction sites, public or private to execute their professional tasks, including technical features and technologies of the host country. With this mobility, the trainees carry out the component of Training in Work Context in European Construction sites. Each participant's performance evaluation is made by a tutor and an accompanying Technician, designated respectively by the host partner and CENFIC.This mobility also provides for technical and cultural visits, particularly on the weekends, facilitating the understanding of the host culture. For CENFIC and other participating organizations, it is expected the integration of the project results in their professional training activity / receiving trainees for practical training in the workplace. It is expected that the target group (students of a plumber course) benefit directly from the application of skills developed during training and complement them in order to enhance their future professional activity. In addition to technical skills, personal development is another objective of this mobility because there will be an impact on each ones' attitudes: greater autonomy, greater independence and also greater self-esteem. Linguistic and intercultural skills of the participants will also come out strongly reinforced. These goals are advantageous when entering the domestic or foreign labor market and strengthening the spirit of working in multicultural teams. The project also has an impact for the remaining training community at CENFIC - Trainers, Trainees and Technicians of other training areas, namely: - For the motivation of learners; - By direct transmission of the collected experiences - trainee/trainee; - On the framework of the training team in the neighboring country Sector reality and the implemented solutions; - By comparison of the construction processes adopted in both countries; - Through an analysis of materials / construction costs; - By the way the waste flow is mannaged.
