Date du début: 2 févr. 2015, Date de fin: 1 oct. 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

In all European municipalities there are cultural entities that energize local life. The primary basis for these entities is young people. Our association, Ateneu Cultural Ciutat de Manises, is one of these entities. The "Breaking walls with culture" project aims to get young people from different cultural institutions in different European countries have the chance to meet other cultural realities and how these are developed, collecting ideas that allow us to improve the task we undertake in our municipalities. Also intended as artistic work experience set among youth who participated in the meeting as one of the activities that will develop the staging of a version of Pink Floyd The Wall. Sixty young artists (music, song, dance, theatre, painting), during 10 days, will show our cultural projects. We will discuss about the project, we will work together and we will live together. We will do: group dynamics, coexistence and exchange activities of social habits (culinary and recreational), visit to cultural venues, lectures, meetings, work creativity and artistic expression, testing, performance of the play " The Wall Pink Floyd ". To achieve the objectives we will have a previous work, before the meeting, compilation and summary of information about our cultural reality in the fields we develop (music, song, dance , theatre, painting...) . Once together capsize the information, which we will discuss in small groups and then reach joint conclusions. Also among all participants will make the show that will be directed by renowned director José Vicente Fuentes Castilla. All this work shall be inserted with leisure activities that enable the personal relationship between participants from different countries. The immediate results of the project will be reflected in the improvements we make from the ideas arising from the knowledge of other cultural realities. In the long run, this experience will impact the future of labour due to the improvement of skills acquired in this intense practice. Finally, this project will have a cultural impact that increases the sense of belonging to Europe by population. A long-term project may be the germ of cultural future collaborations between the participating entities, or among others who have been interested in participating in it. For now this project help us to expand our cultural field. We never thought in Europe so far. We have achieved a lot of objectives working in this project. Perhaps the greatest benefit of this experience is the illusion that has come to discover Europe in its most practical and welcoming face.
