The project ‘Brand Yourself’ was an 11-day international youth exchange on the topic of personal branding in the context of youth unemployment which took place on November 10-20, 2015 on the Croatian coast in Rijeka. It brought together 30 participants from 5 European countries: Croatia, Bulgaria, Italy, Czech Republic and Greece. The context of the project comes from the idea to raise awareness on the topic of personal branding since it has become an integral part of our lives and a powerful tool to promote personal and professional which guarantee higher chances in the process of getting a job, applying for an internship or grant support. The main result we wanted to achieve was to empower young people to: -find their own way in life and learn skills valuable, -achieve better results and create more success in life while enjoying it. -become more aware of their potential and the way to apply new knowledge and skills on practice in personal and professional spheres. The project had a goal of promoting awareness about youth unemployment in Europe and ways to combat it on all levels: local, regional, national and European. Methodology that we used during the youth exchange was based on “learning through experience in intercultural context” activities. We used tools of non-formal education. All participants were actively included in the project, participating, exchanging opinions and expressing ideas, contributing, sharing and helping.
