“ Brace Yourself LA PALMA IS COMING” would be the first EVS project ever for Local Government Body ( Youth Department ). Together with Mojo de Caña adoracion we will participate in this project, hosting two youngsters from Belgium and Italy. They will support our daily work, adding an extra value thanks to their different experiences and social backgrounds.By participating in EVS we want to involve european youngsters into our daily work, sharing with them such an intense experience and learning proces. By integrating them into our local community and their participation in our activities we are sure to bring new dimensions into our entity. Youth Department has a yearly program of activities were youngsters could participate,learn ,share their point of view.WE are eager to hear their new forms and workshops, and get them to became reality with the support of our workers.Even though we still have 10 months ahead of us, in which we will get the chance to get to know the youngsters we are sure that it wont be the last one. We have detected the present needs of local youngsters, and on of solution , is necessary, is presenting them all the opportunities outside of the island that exist for them, but lack of information has ward off for them. Ever since we have get the chance to meet a Sam ( from belgium ) and Elisa ( from Italy) we are eager to start working hand by hand with them, on these objectives. They will be given the opportunity to use the resources of entity in order to promote ERASMUS + and facilitate the access of information for local youngsters. We are positively excited and we are sure that we have 10 moths filled with work and success,something that La Palma island is needing these days.
