The purpose of the Boundless Care II - Torne Valley is to further deepen the interaction between health care centres in the municipalities in the Finnish and Swedish Torne Valley in order to achieve the right quality of care and free care choice for patients in the region. Objectives The main goal of this project is to create conditions for increased mobility for the region's residents by ensuring a good health care regardless of workplace and residence, more efficient use of healthcare resources that already exist, to strengthen cooperative relations and to increase information transfer between the region's various health care players. The interim targets for Boundless Care II Torne Valley is to: • implement a number of priority cooperation projects • implementation of an education in common terminology • create common guidelines for treatment of acute medicine • begin the transfer of information between health care in countries
