Boundless Borders Police Training Cooperation (BOBO)

Open the gates of the police schools and introduce new and more effective pedagogical methods (e- learning) to the police training together. To promote the general understanding of the minorities of the neighboring countries, familiarize with the partners cultural and professional background several organized components will be fitted into the programme. Activities: 2*150-hours language courses in Serbian and in Hungarian, teacher-student exchange programmes for the period of 8 months, setting up of an e-learning system. The e-learning curriculum should be an educational package with 7 modules: 1. General provisions; 2. External borders; 3. Internal borders; 4. Final provisions; 5. Annexes; 6. Documents of the Schengen region and the beneficiary countries; 7. Document archive. The thematic construction of the syllabus should follow the Council Regulation (EC) No. 562/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 March 2006 establishing a Community Code on the rules governing the movement of persons across borders (Schengen Borders Code). Achievements: During the 18 months of the project the partners have completed the following:The LB (SZRSZKI) organized 6 exchange programs for Serbian students and 3 exchange programs for Serbianteachers. Serbian language courses were launched in March and finished on 21st October 2011. SZRSZKI also organized several meetings in Szeged where Serbian representatives of the PP were present. there were 5 Joint Working Group meetings in which the e-learning software and thee-learning curriculum was worked out. A 6-day field practice was held in Dóc, Csongrád county in August with the participation of 30 students and trainers (13 from Serbia, 17 from Hungary) with the involvement of the Hungarian Army.On 25th October 2011 SZRSZKI organized the closing conference in Szeged where local newspapers and the Szeged Town Television (VTV) were also present as well as the Head of Provincial Secretariat for Regulations, Administration and National Minorities. The Serbian project partner started the Hungarian language course in Novi Sad and in Subotica on 5th May 2011 with 40 participants it finished on 7th Ocotober 2011. They also completed the tender procedure for hardware and software of the e-learning programme.There were 6 student and 3 teacher exchange programs organized in Novi Sad.
