Boomerang it’s an EVS project that will involve 6 volunteers motivated coming from Bulgaria, Portugal and Hungary who will be inserted for 6 months, since September 2016, in the context of Modavi work in the city of Napoli. In detail, the volunteers working closely with Modavi’s staff will have the opportunity to learn according with the methodology of the “learning by doing”. Actually, they will be involved and assigned amongst the five main action lines of our association in the following activities: - EUROPE: supporting the Youth Info Point and the organisation of trainings, youth exchanges and cultural activities for youth at local level together with young members of our association;- ANTI-VIOLENCE CENTER: supporting our association organizing the logistic of the counselling services and events aimed to raise awareness on the topic, mainly in local schools.- IMMIGRANTS: supporting our association activities related to helping the immigrant members of the local community, from learning Italian, to finding work and educational opportunities for them and workshops with immigrant children to encourage their integration in the society.- EVENTS: supporting the conception, preparation and implementation of the cultural events of our local community like expositions, concerts, cineforums, festivals;- COMMUNICATION: support the management of the Facebook profile of the association and the official web site http://www.modavinapoli.it/. They will be involved to update our communication tools promoting all the programme of the activities.In this project the volunteers will carry out an important role in a designated area because they will live a continuous cultural interchange with the users as well as with the workers and volunteers from Modavi. They will contribute with their own point of view at the execution of the activities and at its evaluations, acting like truly witnesses of an international mobility European project.
