Date du début: 1 févr. 2015, Date de fin: 30 sept. 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The main purpose and goal of the organizers of this Training Course was to bring the values and benefits that international youth work offers to the members of the partner organizations from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Spain, Italy, Finland, Macedonia, Czech Republic and Romania that were involved in this training. Organizing and implementing international youth activities (youth exchanges, volunteering activities, seminars, trainings etc.) can be a rewarding way to contribute to the development of the local community. These initiatives that can be undertaken can make a real difference to people living in the tough circumstances and the participants had improved their skills and increased their employability through gained competences and understanding of project designing, implementation and leadership. This training course had provided the participants with skills and knowledge within two main aspects - theoretical knowledge needed to promote, design and develop international youth activities and practical organization skills that are needed to be a part of an international team. International, mainly European youth activities require a serious deal of organization, coordination and management skills in order to implement the initiative properly. Most youngsters take part in this kind of activities because they want to give something back and find they get much more in return. Participation in European youth events often is a foundation for a long-term, sustainable solution of the challenge the community faces. The social capital generated by youth work plays a significant role in economic regeneration of any society. We find that the skills that youth gained at this event are one of an important safety net aspect for the future. Skills they gained within this training course will help them take initiative. This model works well because it contributes to the creation of a solid youth of a nation in times of adversity and more prosperous groups will usually make sacrifices for the benefit of those in need. The training course took place in Tallinn, Estonia from 08.06.-16.06.2015 The NGOs that send participants were from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Spain, Italy, Finland, Macedonia, Czech Republic and Romania. The applicant organization had a hosting role in this project.
