Reasons:Taking into consideration that:- We are a professional school located in a municipality with only 6000 inhabitants;- We are located in a very small island with about 10 000 inhabitants;- Our island be an outermost region of the European Union;- Being the definition of an island: a piece of land surrounded by sea and thus defining already the sea as our added value;- Still Taking into account the lack of opportunities, isolation and constraints that young people suffer;- Taking also into account the high percentage of early school leaving;- Having regard to the high rate of immigrant population;- Taking into account that in the EU 28 in 2012, about 40% of the population between 14 and 30 years old were unemployed;-Notando That in the EU-28, about 15% of the population is at risk of social exclusion and poverty up.These facts and figures mean that it becomes urgent measures to combat such effects.Goals:With the development of a youth KA1 Mobility project we believe will contribute to increasing the horizons of young people through the development of activities focused on the maritime economy. Despite our partner is Bulgarian, and having little territory on the coast, but taking into account that it is a country with serious economic and social obstacles, we believe that we are promoting knowledge, skills, attitudes and skills in young people, to enable them to develop new professional activities, particularly through entrepreneurship and creating your own job. With the execution of this inherent design and activities we are contributing actively to the development of tools and methods to be used by young people and so they themselves develop new opportunities for themselves while contributing to the development of regional and national economies and addressing the situation described the reasons that led us to develop this project. We still note that the Azores is recognized at European level for their abilities / opportunities in terms of the economy of the sea and immediately we think contribute to an exchange of experiences, best practices and expertise capable of bringing to fruition the goals this project, whether by young people, the organizations, to develop seize new working methods and capacities at regional, national and European level to combat the reasons set out above.Because we want to tackle unemployment, social exclusion and risk of poverty as well as taking into account the reality of the majority of our learners, with major social and economic obstacles, we intend to develop a project that focuses on the needs and creating opportunities for young people with fewer opportunities, promoting contact with new realities and contexts, skills, knowledge, attitudes, skills and abilities, both dealing with and combating the economic, social and educational difficulties that these same young people face.As objetvios relate to the ERASMUS program and KA1 + Action:We think that the development of a KA1 Mobility Youth project contributes to improving the professional and personal life of young people. To join 28 young people and two leaders of Portugal and Bulgaria, which share a common living space on the island of Pico and even with the possibility of having contact with the island of Faial, between 01 and September 15, 2016, through a set of activities using the methods recommended at European level of non-formal and informal education, such as: workshops, simulations in professional and social contexts, games and other informal activities aimed at developing the exchange of experiences, experiences and realities, exchange ideas and contact with civil society actors, local and regional authorities, businesses and other organizations in the area in question as well as team-building exercises, ice-breakers and energizes, there would be another project and / or action more Easily reach the proposed goals, considering that non-formal and informal education is a recognized method for increasing skills in a practical way at European level. Thus, taking into account the above, the needs and issues to be addressed in this project are:- Combating early school leaving;- To combat the risk of exclusion and poverty;- Development of entrepreneurial skills;- Development of the maritime economy as a way to find new economic and social opportunities for young people;- To combat isolation and promote the exchange of experiences, ideas, values, cultures, knowledge, skills, attitudes, skills and capabilities;- Promote the European level new mechanisms to combat youth unemployment.
