It’s a fact that in the system of vocational education, there is a discrepancy between the knowledge gained during the study and constantly changing requirements and business needs. We need new, relevant and applicable knowledge that complement those acquired during the training of students in Varna School of Commerce "G.S Rakovski" (VSC) and which are in line with the demanded competences of the workforce in Europen scale and the use of new technologies and Internet in business. The project aims to improve the skills of students from VSC and to prepare them for employment by providing practice in real working environment. The specific objectives of the project are: -To improve the target group’s skills by building basic work habits and acquiring practical skills in e-commerce and on-line marketing. -To develop users’ personal skils, their self esteem, confidence and motivation for growth in the chosen professional carеer; -To acknowledge the competences and skills gained during the practical education. -To create skills for the students to use of the new foreign language in real environment and to amplify their knowledge with specific terminology. -To create a possibility for the students to get familiar with a foreign culture and work manner, to create new contacts and the start feeling as European citizens. -To improve the capacity of Varna School of Commerce for international cooperation in the vocational education sector . Participants in mobility are 40 students in the stage of initial vocational education from VSC aged 16-19 from the specialties "Economic Informatics", "Economics and Management" and "Trade". The practice will be carried out in companies in Barcelona for 4 weeks and will include professional visits and practical workshops, combined with individual practical work in a real working environment in the field of e-commerce and online marketing. The organizer of the practice and partner in the project is Association Mundus. The concrete results for the project participants will be: better preparation for employment and better competitiveness on the European labor market, improved professional competencies and enriched language skills, increased self-confidence, improved social skills and skills to work in a multicultural environment. Received professional and personal skills will be certified and formally recognized through the issuance of a Certificate from Association Mundus references from the collaborating companies, the Europass Mobility document and certificate of Varna High School of Commerce. Accompanying teachers will update their knowledge and skills in conformity with the latest trends and business realities and will learn new teaching methods based on their daily contact with mentors from companies. The long-lasting effect of the project is the possibility to improve and update the curricula of the encompassed majors in order to meet the current requirements and needs of the Bulgarian and European labor market, as well as improvements in the capacity of VSC for international cooperation and building partnerships with a spanish training organization and employer companies.
