This project focuses upon habitat improvement, monitoring key species and providing conditions suitable for successful species diversification and enhancement in order to improve the protection and management of key sites. The project has identified habitats that require improvements in both countries, identifying species that could be lost or threatened if the work is not undertaken. The habitat improvements and subsequent species monitoring will seek to enhance cross-Channel research and sharing of information and expertise, whilst working to educate the public as to the importance of protecting their native habitats.
