Bildungslotse-Nürnberg e.V. wants in this project to develop the quality of her educational staff in intercultural skills, musical skills and environmental education and expand their own portfolio. Our project is designed in that way, that our education staff can expand their intercultural skill and can learn about new aspects of environmental and educational music teaching and learning methods with new aspects in other cultural contexts. By strengthening the area of intercultural parents work, current work area will be reflected and new methods and ideas can be integrated. In addition, the project will be expanded to provide advice and accompaniment skills of the participants through the new areas of musical education and environmental aspects. Learning about the new areas of musical education and environmental aspect will also expand the provide advice and accompaniment skills of the participants. The project is primarily addressed to the educational staff of the Association and the employees of the cooperation partner Kita- Terrabia who support us in our work. On the one hand we have participants that have no main vocational field of work and on the other hand working full time staff as educators and social workers. The non- working colleagues shall get new competences, which will help them in their professional progress. The staff at Kita- Terrabia to form by their periods abroad and expand their knowledge through important intercultural such as linguistic skills, which they can incorporate into their daily work and our services. The implementation of the stay abroad is planned as follows. The stays have a time frame between 14 and 20 days. The partners in Turkey were contacted in advance and are known to us from earlier visiting. We have contacted our partners in Turkey. We know them from earlier visits. We are looking for partners in England. But a we made a narrow selection of our potential partners. Partners from England are still being sought . Where we have made a narrow selection . All of our partners are supposed have to be active in the education and counseling area. Participants are going to visit the partners. In addition excursions will offer the possibility to collect so many impressions and contacts as possible. Learning agreements on the objectives to be attained shall be taken by the participants and the local partners in advance. The specific objectives of the project can be summarized as follows: …develop intercultural competences …expand environmental educational skills …learning new teaching and learnimg methods. …personally acquire strengths such as Communication skills, self-reflection … gain new ideas for their own professional development …develop empathy for people with a migration background and their difficulties in a foreign country Our partners abroad can also benefit from our participants, which partly have a very good professional qualifications or long consulting. Thus, a dialogue will develop, because we want to stay in the collegial exchange after the end of the flow. The joint development of a catalog of criteria for successful parent counseling is pursued through the project phase out further.
