21 female students of the secondary school for crafts HLWM Annahof in Salzburg complete their planned as part of the curricular training internship in the amount of at least 12 weeks (most of them more than 13 weeks) in Spain , Iceland and Germany. The internship takes place after 2 years of professional training and prior to the last year of their multiple-job training. The participants are between 16 and 18 years old. The receiving organizations are 4-5 * hotels in these countries.The aim of this internship is to gain insight into the professional reality and apply the professional competences gained in school education expertise in all areas of the respective professional field , particularly in the areas of cuisine and service, and develop accordingly. In addition, the participants should gain a comprehensive overview of the organization of enterprises and improve their foreign language skills. An important focus is the development of personal and social skills during the time of the placement abroad .Experience from the internship are to be evaluated and applied in the relevant discipline-oriented subjects subsequently. At the end of the fourth year group the knowledge and skills that the students have earned in the course of training, are to prove as part of the preliminary review to maturity and diploma examination in the test areas "cuisine" and "service".The project partners incorporate the following activities:- Participants: development of general skills such as teamwork, contacts and organizational skills, time management and independent, efficient work; development of expertise in service as preparatory work, food and beverage service, guest relations and consultancy; development of expertise, information networks in the kitchen as kitchen organization and technology, preparation and techniques, recipes, preparation and serving of meals; development of linguistic competence in the foreign language or jargon- Association Organizing Committee: preparation, coordination , execution and follow-up of the entire project with all stakeholders; any preparation of the participants- HLWM Annahof Salzburg and TS Bludenz: training, pre and post in the related practice areas cuisine and service as well as foreign languages; preparation and monitoring of trainee contracts- Host organizations: training and supervision of interns; issue resp. approbation of Letter of Intent, ECVET learning agreement, contract, internship certificate and confirmation of the Europass Mobility document; organization of accommodation and provision of catering- Animafest Experience: Search and coordination of host organizations in Spain; evaluation of host organizations; supervision of interns in case of problemsObjectives and expected results of the participants :- Completion of the 12-week compulsory internship- Preparation for the professional skill exams as part of maturity and diploma examination- Deepening and safe application of technical theory and practical knowledge- Integration into operations- Getting to know different areas of responsibility- Independent and responsible work in a team- Life experience- Important step towards independence and self-responsibility- Promotion of self-consciousness- Promotion of personal and social skills- Promotion of foreign languages Spanish, French and English as preparation for the professional skill exams in the foreign language or the A-levels- Promotion of multilingualism, as preparation for the A.levels- Promoting the understanding of international communication in business- Promotion of economic understanding- Learning about other cultures- Promotion of the European idea of cooperation beyond all national borders- Promoting Cultural Awareness- Achieving the training objectives of the InstituteExpected results and impacts and long-term benefits on a wider level:- Sustainable and premium quality high-standing training of specialists with international experience, professional and linguistic competence and transnational mobility readiness- Promotion of the school and its international commitment- Promotion of the program Erasmus+ in the region and beyond- Promoting a positive image for the activities of the European Union- Awareness that programs of this type a substantial basis for mutual understanding in Europe can be placedTherefore, the importance of this project is to train the youth in the direction of professionalism , fluency in languages, multilingualism, personal and social skills and to promote and strengthen this idea in the population of the region and beyond.
