Date du début: 1 sept. 2016, Date de fin: 28 févr. 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The project “Between the truth” is youth exchange project which also contain APV meeting which will focus on media competences and raise awareness for intercultural living together as well as the opinion making process is influenced a lot by information transported by media. This Project is follow up of the project which was developed and implemented in 2010 as a bilateral youth exchange between Serbian and German partner. Now 6 years later the two project leaders decided to implement the project again, to develop it for multilateral youth exchange and fit it to new developments (social media) as well as to the actual topic served in Europe (refugee crises). It will take place in city of Berlin, Germany from 26th January till 4th February. On it partnership is made between 6 countries: Germany, Israel, Italy, Portugal, Romania and Serbia and it is involving both programme and partner countries in it. It will gather 8 participants at APV and 49 participants (9 of them group leaders or accompanying persons) at the Youth exchange action of the project. At the APV the group leaders will be youth workers/ social workers. Each Partner will appoint a representative, who will be group leader of the youth exchange and studied pedagogues. The participants of the youth exchange are in age between 16 and 20 and regular clients of the partner facilities. Each group will be composed by English speakers and not English speakers, having representatives from marginalized groups too (support to the participants who are not speaking working language will be provided). The project is created to develop media competences for all possible youth groups participating in the project action as well as to the ones who will be in encounter it. That is why we requested the partners to create mixed crews, balanced between genders, but also balanced between participants without and with fewer opportunities. This was done to guarantee the effect through non-formal learning among peers. Groups work will be leaded by expert in media and reporting who will share his experience as well as knowledge with the participants. The Project promotes European citizenship through developing critical thinking and media competences in framework of human rights and cultural dialog. With the project we would like also to raise tolerance and foster the cooperation among young people with and without obstacles. The common work on this specific topic will help them to learn from each other, to understand better situation of others as well as in the other countries.During the project participants will investigate in one topic, which was present in all countries: the refugees move. Through the project implementation participants will learn, how manipulation works, how information is spread, but also how to spin and work with emotions. They will learn to try to get a wider picture and not to trust in short information served by media. With this project we link especially to the objectives of the Erasmus plus: to enhance media competences, critical thinking as well as personal skills, to reach marginalised people. As well we equip the group leaders, which are youth workers with a method, which is also suitable to use in their working context.
