„Best4Internationals" is an international qualification programme for adult education staff. In the framework of this collective proposal 100 learning mobilities of staff members of different adult education providers, from different sectors and all hierarchical levels are carried out during the two years of the project. Teachers, paedagogical staff members, administrative staff and managing staff of the vhs-Verband Baden-Württemberg and its member Volkshochschulen is involved in the project. Political decision makers are also supposed to participate in learning mobilities. Main themes of quailification programmes and job-shadowings are the guidance and learning programmes for migrants, individualization of learning, modernisation and internationalisation of teaching, especially language teaching, intercultural education and management subjects. The qualifications of adult educators are closely linked to the strategic goals of adult education providers employing the participants. The competences and findings that participants gain shall be implemented in the sending organisation and shall also have impacts outside the sending organisation.The proposal is co-ordinated by the EU-Projektberatungsstelle of the Volkshochschulverband Baden-Württemberg which is supported and co-financed by the Kultusministerium Baden-Württemberg. The EU-Beratungsstelle plans the project, enlarges and strengthens its international education partnerships and networks, develops instruments for the identification and evaluation of learning contents and the transfer of results, choses participating organisations and staff, supports learning mobilities, evaluates the project and ensures the transfer of results outside the participating organisations as well as impacts on system level.The goal of the project is to individualize, modernize and internationalize the adult education sector in Baden-Württemberg in the long run. Moreover, the project shall foster innovations in the adult education sector in Baden-Württemberg among others in the field of ne methods of learning and individualised guidance and learning offers, e.g. migrants.
