BeNovative!– sustainable entrepreneurship for youth workers

BEnovative – sustainable entrepreneurship for youth workers is a 7-days long training course, which will take place in Modra (November 2016) and involve 7 partner organisations from Slovakia, Hungary, Macedonia, Latvia, Estonia, Greece and Portugal. The training course answers to the needs of social entrepreneurial learning of the partner organisations. Topic: social entrepreneurship and sustainability. The method used is a combination of non-formal learning methods and creative recycling where the focus is on doing actions and evaluate the result.With the project the organisers address the increasing problem of youth unemployment in Europe and the need of learning the social entrepreneurial skillset in order to enable youth workers to act on their own and adapt to the continuously changing labour market. The objectives of the project are: - To learn and practice the entrepreneurial skill set with youth workers in order to find an inspiring activity that makes income - To develop the competences of ’creativity and entrepreneurship’ through creative recycling techniques and other means of self-expression- To promote sustainability in venture creation- and management, in lifelong learning and in environmental aspects between youth workers- To promote innovation in youth work by implementing the method of creative recycling in entrepreneurial educationIn the training involves a total number of 21 participants, who are young people, youth workers, volunteers and co-founders of youth NGOs (plus trainers and support stuff). Within the project the organisers establish cooperation with local partner Impact Hub, which is running incubator programme also for socially responsible projects, green start-ups and it is a place of innovation and action.
