The project "BeThere" was a meeting between young people from Czech Republic and Germany, with most coming from disadvantaged social backgrounds. The focus of the project was the experience of their different realities and sometimes very difficult life experiences. Aim was to provide a space to young people, where experiences and differences can be overcome and eliminated through joint actions and experiences, prejudices. In support of the various exchange program during their stay in Schirgiswalde, was the participation in the project "Strong without violence". The research is focused on the performance of the musical "Streetlight" which was rehearsed during the week. The cooperation with international professional musicians as well as other young people from the Free Christian school in Schirgiswalde, the youths were commonplace sensitized violence mainly for their inner strengths and the subject. The practical action, the dance and the common work for a goal has helped young people dismantle prejudices, to discover their own skills and to extend the life horizon.
