Be mobile, be smart, enjoy adventure

This seminar is the first part of a trinational cycle for young people with social, economical and educational difficulties. It will take place in Brittany (France) from 1-7. February 2015. 30 participants (10 from lower Saxony, Germany ; 10 from Wales, Great-Britain ; and 10 from Brittany, France. Youth workers, intercultural teamers and translators will lead the group during the whole week. Newt steps will take place in Germany in April and in Great Britain in June 2015. This project is born from a collectif decision from the partners to work together on the project, considering in their daily professionnal life the positive impact of youth mobility for young people with special needs (self confidence, social and interculturel skills, etc. ) The objectives are to enable the participant to: - discover new ways of living and thinking - have a first experience of mobility, knowing better other cultures - improve linguistic and communication skills - participate at an intercultural learning process (prejudices, cultural differences, cooperation, etc.) : - be more self confident - find easier a job or a vocational training During one week, the young people will live and work together and participate at different kinds of activities : - linguistic animation : to increase the group dynamic, to go above fears, and to learn some words in the three languages - intercultural workshops about cultural differences, stereotypes : midd-term and final evaluation - exchanges about one experiences - visit of an international firm - preparation of an exhibition about "working at the sea side". Formal and non formal activities will be important to support the intercultural learning process. The teamer will translate into the the three languages, so that each participant can speak in the mother tongue. In this new context, the participants will be able to make a positive experience, to realise what they can, and to developp new skills.
