The possibility to use its easy, attractive and powerful infrastructure in additional vocational areas (tourism and retailer), makes out a great possibility for more users to learn more languages in additional professional contexts, using the same learning approach and already developed infrastructure. The transfer into Spanish, Estonian and Turkish of all content on the website including the new areas, makes its potential for a wide spread use and dissemination distinctively higher. All partners are integrated in vocational institutions and networks operating in many vocational areas, thus covering the old and new relevant professional areas being experts in the fields. The German partner has promoted this project. The Finnish partner was responsible of the modified ICT solution and its implementation. The new partners have been of fundamental importance and fully integrated, the partnership aiming for future multilateral collaborations. The main outcome is a final online learning platform on which the user is able to learn nine different languages (CEFR A1-A2/B1) in different professional contexts and to learn in a playful way. The professional learning areas are: kitchen, service, hotel reception, tourism and retailer. In all these areas there is a strong need to possess basic communication skills in different languages before going abroad for a placement. The sustainability of language learning is secured with the promotion of the European Language Portfolio on the platform. The targeted groups are low skilled trainees and workers in the areas of kitchen, service, hotel reception, tourism and retailing. The total amount of new produced multimedia learning content is approx.: 150 videos, 90 games, 360 exercisesAfter using the platform, the end user is better prepared in a basic linguistically and basic cultural way for a stay abroad, likely decreasing the risk of failure and therefore rising the chances for personal development and thereby raising the chance of mobility of these target groups, mainly focusing on the European priority “Raising competence levels of groups at risk” but also the priority “Developing the learning environment”.
