In Bulgaria the EWS 2016 will be held on 10-17 September. The action will focus around the organization of a Sport village in the sporting complex of the “Academic” Stadium supplied with a wide range of sports facilities offered on the spot, both outdoors and indoors. The stadium offers opportunities to practice all-track disciplines, football, hockey, tennis, beach volleyball, volleyball, handball, basketball, gymnastics, wrestling, martial arts, fitness, street fitness, aerobics and others. For seven days all four focus topics will be consistently represented, which will be associated with the activation and ensuring adequate participants / audience for each of the topics. Two goodwill ambassadors – a popular athlete and an actor will be invited to join the Sports village, and will be involved in the media campaign starting at least a month before the EWS. The flagship event will take place in Sofia on 17th of September 2016. It will represent a large-scale sports festival with demonstrations of sports games and physical exercises. Special conditions for the inclusion and fun of non-professional participants, citizens and children will be established and animated by professional coaches. With the purpose to provide coaches, animators and plenty of participants, a wide network of federations, sports and fitness clubs, the National Sports Academy and other educational institutions will be drawn for partnership. Along with the events in Sofia, the EWS will be organized in other 13 major regional cities: Plovdiv, Varna, Vratsa, Rouse, Bourgas, Stara Zagora, Veliko Tarnovo, Blagoevgrad, Shumen, Pernik, Razgrad, Sliven and Yambol.
