Dynamic Basket Lot Corrèze" association was funded in 2009 further to the merger of 2 previous associations. The association is based in Meyssac (South Corrèze, 20km from Brive la Gaillarde. Meyssac is home to 1300 people. Jeunesse et Sport et Education Populaire delivered an agreement to DBLC. The association is also member of Basket Ball French Federation and was given the "Club Elite Feminin" label. The club is active in local community teaching basket ball at schools and colleges, being part of cultural and local events such as 'la Fête des associations', Lotto, Belote, hiking. Our project shall succeed if the EV is really interested in sports and particularly Basket Ball. Some experience in training young and adults would be greatly appreciated ut is not compulsory. There is no specific selection criteria. Applications are introduced to the Executive Board to make a decision. We do not have any demand about the sending organisation. We would like our association to get more and more open to European countries so that our young licensees and their families can benefit from new relations, languages and cultures. - for our young licensees to get a new vision of Basket Ball - for our young volunteers , to get a different sensibility and have a better understanding of the associations activities. For all, to speak and exchange in a foreign language, at least in english. We also believe that this European program can help EV and licensees to become European citizens sharing values such as tolerance, friendship, openess towards others. This program can also be a weapon against racism and discrimination as people can share multi cultures and ways of thinking. EV will have a guardian member of the association. They will work together during the training periods. For any other activities, EV will be assisted by another member of the association or one or several association volunteers.All along the programme, the EV will be under the supervision a a staff member. He will have to train them as Basket ball coach. he will have to assist them during the sports activities and also when working with regional federal institutions.
