A significant increase of the level of catering, hotel and tourist services has recently been noticed in Poland. It makes the educational institutions raise the quality of vocational training in the mentioned areas. The future employees must gain not only the general vocational skills that are taught according to New School Curriculum, but they also should be trained in narrow niche specialities such as sommelier, barista and event organizer. These jobs are very noble and popular in many countries in Europe and all over the world. Restaurant and hotel owners in Poland have been looking for such specialists for a long time. They need them to work in newly open wine bars, cafes, coffee houses, coffee bars, cafeterias, which are still enlarging in number. It is also connected with introducing in Poland a new wine and/or coffee – consuming style, especially that of special tastes and decorations. New specialities are introduced at educational institutions, for example enology – studies about wine.
Vocational training at those narrow specialities completed in partner countries, which are rich in experience in the area, will let a beneficiary gain additional skills - those ones which are in demand at labour markets.
Nowadays, the event organization is an essential part of business tourism and has important meaning for the development of towns and cities, companies planning their image, as well as, travel agencies. That is why, being a skilful organizer of such events is of great importance. The Polish market of event organization is still not very well-developed. It means that skills and knowledge concerning the area are rare and unique. Moreover, there is a growing demand for such services thanks to their specific character.

It can result directly and indirectly in the reduction of unemployment rate. The school will profit by improving the quality of vocational training standards. Obtaining a certificate confirming skills at a European level is also essential for professional mobility and a future career.
Apart from gaining professional experience, it is important to acquire linguistic competence especially that relevant to a particular branch (thus, new foreign languages, i.e. Italian or Spanish, are introduced).
