Date du début: 1 nov. 2015,
Date de fin: 1 oct. 2016
The project "Balkans getting ready for SDGs" is implemented by Center for Human Rights and Development Studies in cooperation with other 15 partners from Balkans and EU.The overall aim is to strengthen the capacity of CSOs in Western Balkans and European Union to support the SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) related reforms and advocate for active youth involvement in the SDG process. Specific objectives of the project are: (1) to build capacity of the CSOs to engage in advocacy for SDG related reforms or to use the post 2015 process as a base for their advocacy work, (2) to innovate approaches and partnerships among CSOs towards young people and institutions with the focus on speeding up sustainable development reforms and youth engagement in the related reforms and (3) to strengthen the cooperation of Balkan civil society with the other European Union organizations as a step to motivate more intensive cooperation related to the SDG processesThe innovation within the project is also within its approach of methodology. It is composed of training for trainers and youth workers and a seminar for youth organization management and youth leaders. In this way we make an intervention in 2 directions: one to support the youth work approaches and pedagogical capacity of youth field to introduce the SDGs and another of the management to be able to engage in advocacy about the SDG related reforms. As within the project there are 2 major events (a seminar and a training course) which have their own pedagogical objectives:A seminar for youth leaders and organizations management aims to build directly the competences of youth leaders to understand and support the Sustanable Development goals process. It is more providing inputs and good practice so that the youth leaders are able to understand the SDGs and how to advocate for them in their societies.A training for trainers and youth workers on youth work methodologies for SDGs happening in Novi Sad aims to develop capacity of trainers and youth workers to run non-formal learning activities with youth on the topic of SDGs.
