Drug and alcohol addiction is increasing in the world and Turkey and the beginning age of these harmful things is terribly decreasing. To struggle with the drug which terminates the physical, psychologic and social life of the people is possible with a good Preventive Public Health approach. According to TUIK (abbreviation of Turkey Statistical Foundation) we have 19 million people aged between 14 and 29. These values show us that %26 of our population is young. Number of the young people is very important for our country for developing fast and being in the level of developed countries. This information and some researches show us that our country faces some dangers. According to researches of Drug Addiction and Pharmacolocigal Sciences Institue of Ege University , %33,9 of young people uses alcohol, %29,7 uses cigarette and %1,7 uses drugs. But these rates are terribly increasing. EU countries are aware of this danger. In the 2009 Progress Report of EU says ?You need more drug usage preventing, treatment and rehabilitation facilities.? But this situation is not different with EU countries, so in about all EU countries take some preventive precautions and actions about this problem. In a study which has been done by the Management of Struggle and Control of the Non-alcoholic Addictions of the Ministry of Health, observation and intervention actions were detailed shown. EU countries, especially Germany, Italy, Netherland and France began to study observation and intervention programs about drug addiction in 1980?s. By the help of these informations, our association has finished many studies about this issue so far. And we will continue to struggle with drug addiction with this stability. Basic goals of this Project prepared by us , HEGMED : 1. To decrease drug usage rates of the young people aged between 15 and 30, by transferring the innovative methods and good application models which are applied to the addictive young people in EU countries. 2. To take measures which are necessary about cigarette, alcohol and drug usage of our children and young people, by improving a common strategy with EU countries. In the result of this research, we determined the nearest countries and foundations to realize our aims. Germany and Netherland are two countries of five European countries which produce most strategy and do most study. Our domestic partners, Management of Probation of K?r?kkale is the most comprehensive and unique foundation in K?r?kkale which performs studies about drug addiction and child crimes. There are 7 people who have been specialized about addiction and guidance. Our foundation applies programs to adults, youngs and children about cigarette, alcohol and drug addiction, behaviours of criminals and anger control. Three specialist people were educated about cigarette, alcohol and drug addiction. Our abroad partners, South East Training Academy GmbH (SETA) : SETA has been founded in Germany. SETA is specialized about Education and Youth Programs of EU with big successes and experiences. Foundation has about 20 employees and it has many classrooms. SETA is in collaboration with many other foundations. They have 3 offices in different cities in Germany. Edutalents:Edutalents is an organization founded in Netherland which is active about project preparation and consultancy. Edutalents provides logistical support in appyling projects about Erasmus student and knowledge trade. Also we have actions about coordinating the educational services of vocational innovations. Drug abuse education for children and youth, provides counseling and guidance services. Each year approximately 600 young people are advising. During the management of our project: Goals of project, intellectual outputs, schedule of action, contents of budget, responsbilities of partners, project management and observation team, observation forms, assessment forms, meetings of project, project assessment studies, risks to meet and action plans, partnership agreement, dissemination actions, maintainability actions will be signed in a contract. With our project, 1. Getting rid of addiction will get easier and decreasing will happen on the number of addictive people. 2. Decreasing will happen on social integration problems 3. Awareness of society about addiction will increase 4. Number of happy and peaceful people will increase. Action plans, partnership agreement, dissemination actions, maintainability actions will be signed in a contract. 1.
